Scholarships are the best and most effective ways for students to be granted the opportunity to realize their dreams of a quality and sustainable education. Lack of education reduces the productivity and earning potential which increases vulnerability to hunger and extreme poverty.

  1. Students are chosen to be recipients of the scholarship based upon their need, which is determined by the students’ family income, family structure, and the total cost of attending the chosen school.
  2. Students are also evaluated based on past academic performance, and recipients must maintain a satisfactory academic record.
  3. Once a student is chosen as a recipient of the scholarship, the tuition fee is paid directly to the school official who is required to maintain an accurate record of all funds received on behalf of the student and required to provide the foundation with receipts as evidence of funds received and to demonstrate appropriate utilization of funds.
  4. A full application, including two letters of recommendation, one from the student’s parent and the other from a school official or member of staff, a 500-word essay, the most current academic report and a photo ID must be received by the foundation in order for the student to be considered for the scholarship award.
  5. We will purchase the scholarship recipients’ materials and provide them to the students, to allow us adequate oversight over spending and dispersal of scholarship materials.
